my friend has a squire strat,and he wants new pickups.what would good for country and lynyrd skynyrd,if thats possible

i might use ssl1's in the neck and bridge with a lil 59 bridge model in the middle spot and wire the switch n/nb/b/bm/m
youll get nice spanky clean tones from positions 1-3 as well as classic overdriven single coil tones. the lil 59 in the middle will give you a fatter hotter tone for the more rocking stuff
