Please ID this Basslines pickup

Howdy,

I bought a second hand bass with a basslines pup inside. It is wired with a battery inside.

It does not have any obvious identifying characteristics, except that it is a bridge pup.

First of all, I'd like to know if this is a real SD pup (Perhaps it's just the cover?

I'd also like to know the model.

there is a battery inside the pup?

that doesnt really look like a basslines pup to me, but ive been wrong before

I just checked out a Livewires active jazz pickup I have here and it looks exactly like your picture on the bottom except it has a sticker on the giving the SD part number. I'd venture to guess it's a Duncan that somebody removed the label from and hand marked.
