There was a post a few weeks back about this possibly being the perfect little amp for many. 15w all-tube, built-in power sponge, effects loop, 2 channels, spring reverb, etc, etc, etc...and dirt cheap $399.99.

Now they are on the market and I'm pretty busy so won't have to time to make it to any shops for a while. So if you have a shot, please, please, please, drop a note here if you get to play it.

(Don't dare post that gearwire link from youtube :earl:)

LOL, You've got to wonder how many sales companies lose from Gearwire making their products sound horrible.....

I made the post you refered to but I did not know they were coming out onto the market this quickly, great news as I've been very excited about getting my hands on one of these. I'll have to ask the guys at my local GC when I can expect to give one a run through

Hopefully I'm not getting my hopes up too high for this one. I mean you can only expect so much for $399, but this thing sounds so perfect spec wise for a home/practice amp it might be hard to live up to the hype

Re: Please post if you have a chance to try Peavey Windsor Studio.

Total agree with what you said, seems perfect but hard to live up to specs sometimes.

My problem is I live in a condo and basically I have to have an attenuator. I'm bored with my Vox AD30VT.

Basically this is my dream setup:

Low wattage amp with attenuator, effects loop, and reverb.
EBMM Petrucci-->Boss tu-2-->Plexitone or MI Crunchbox and DS-1 mod-->Boss GE-7-->AMP
Delay in effects loop

Nice and simple, got all of it except the amp and distortion box. Hopefully this amp can fill one of my holes.

Anyone seen one of these yet? Guitar Center didn't have it, but I saw it was available online at Sweetwater.

Anyone yet?

I guess all I want to know now is how well this sucker will take pedals.

I wasn't impressed when I tried one. It just left me empty...
