Please recommend me some artists/records with great P-90 tone

Just curious. I'd like to find something to listen, to know what most ppl think a good vintage P-90 pickup should sound like.

Eddie Cochran, Les Paul, Tommi Iommi, Pete Townshend, Mick Ralph, Mike Ness, Billie Joe Armstrong, George Thorogood, The Beatles, Keith Richards and many jazz artists. P-90s can be dark and sweet when clean and biting and gritty when distorted. They are thicker than a Strat single and about twice the output. It's the single coil Fender should have invented, but didn't and the one Gibson should have put in more premium guitars.

+1. Also Leslie West (mountain), Pete Townsend (Live at Leeds album), Tony Iommi (early Sabbath), Carlos Santana (Woodstock era), and Mick Ralphs (Bad Company). All of these guys had fantastic tones. What more do you need?
