Plugging 100w head into furman pedal board

I want to get some kind of power conditioner to plug my 100 watt head into. Thing is, I also want to get a Furman SPB 8C Pictured here:

So what I am wondering is, can I save myself the expense of buying a rackmount power conditioner for my 100w head and just plug it into one of the outlets on this without blowing up the pedalboard? Will this work as well as one of Furman's rackmount models?

Lastly, in a live situation I expect I'll have to run a long extension cord around the perimeter of the stage to the back of my amp from the board, and then another long length of cord from the actual pedalboard to whatever outlet I can find. Will this have any kind of detrimental effect even with the Furman RFI/EMI filetering?

No, it'll be fine. Long power cables won't diminish your tone like long or cheap guitar cables. The Furman power supply can handle a 100W amp.....Four widely spaced 120 VAC, 15A outlets.

Onstage, the only thing I'd worry about is someone tripping on the power cable, yanking your head to the floor.
