POD 2.0 vs Zoom G3 vs Fender Mustang Floor...

I have a Blackstar HT-5 and would like to expand it's tonal range by adding a good multi-effects device to it. So far, I have found the POD 2.0, Zoom G3, and the Fender Mustang Floor, but I am open to other suggestions in the $200 range.

The primary use of this device is it's ability to download other user created "patches" to the device to give me a tone for a specific band and/or song that I want to learn/practice without having to create it on my own. Thus I would need one with a large online selection of patches. This is the reason I am not including the POD HD Desktop as it's fairly new and doesn't have many online patches available, at least not through Line-6's website.

I want a good software interface where I can play with different effects on the PC and have them adjust the device on the fly without the need to save them as a patch. I like the look of the Fender FUSE software as everything is graphical and each choice I make is represented with a picture of the virtual amp/cab/pedal I am using and you adjust them like you would the real thing. Does the POD or Zoom software allow this?

This device will be 100% practice, so it wont be used on stage or in any live situations. I don't mind pedals, but probably wont use them much as most of my tweaking will be via the PC.

The device would need a headphone output as I have a 3 year old and often practice when she is taking her nap. It would also need some good amp/cab emulations so I don't have to run it through my amp if I am just using headphones.

Any recommendations or suggestions?

POD 2.0 is OLD.

Get the X3 at the least. Affordable, tons of patches available, and it will come with tons and tons of amp models. (Not that they're all great, but you'll be able to use every patch for that generation.)

Was looking at the POD 2.0 as it's still a production model while the X3 is not. However, I heard that the POD 2.0 does NOT have direct PC connectivity, so I am taking a 2nd look at the POD HD since it's on sale for the same price as a POD 2.0.

Would have to spend more than $200 on a used X3, so thinking the HD would be a better option than that. Comments?

Thanks for the input. After doing a lot of Internet research, I went with the POD HD Desktop since it's on sale for $199 now, which is half off.
