Pod and midi floorboard alternative

I am using a pod xt and power amp setup in my band and I need to have the versitility of changing between a few sounds and effects via floorboard however I don't want to spend the money for line 6's floorboard (it costs almosed as much as the pod itself). I thought that I read somewhere that you could just by a midi floorboard for much cheeper and program it to control the pod through the midi. I don't really need the volume and wah pedals. I just need to be able to switch between the a,b,c,and d channels of one bank and switch on overdrive. Does anyone know of any cheep floorboards that would be able to do what I want. Any info is appreciated.

any of them will work for what you want ... i love my rocktron midimate ... i've heard good things about the behringer too

There are heaps out there. Rocktron midi mate and behringer fcb1010 are just 2 of them.

The fcb1010 has 2 up/down bank switches, 10 stomps (CC and PC) and 2 expression pedals and is cheap, works well and by all accounts reliable.

The Behringer is great bang for the buck, and is quite sturdy to boot.
I use a Roland FC 200 MIDI controller, since all my gear is Roland and I just wanted to keep it all in the family!

I think I hear Mincer right behind me!!
