I was tempted to sell this thing off and get one of those Boss GT things, but before posting the sale ad, I gave it a last try and came out with this tone:

Definitely agree on the talent ... would be interested in which Boss ... maybe he'll stop by and tell us?

I notice you record with several pieces of equipment. If you could go buy one piece of equipment to record with ... the type of material you are doing ... would it be the Boss Dr880 or something else?

Really like your material.

I dunno...I guess a sound card would come before that and a recording sw.

I have a sound card and recording software. Just interested in making the backing tracks ... that's really what I'm inquiring about.

Well then yes, I do recommend the Dr880.

However, if you are familiar with Cubase and other sequencing stuff, you can get some really groovey tracks with those as well.

Your playing is great as usual man, but you can squeeze so much more out of a tube amp... it's a little thin and artificial to me compared to your usual tone.
