PodXT Question

I'm thinking about getting a PodXT, but I'm in a tight money situation right now. The only way I can justify getting one is if I axe my plans for a TU-2 for the moment. I'm not gigging so until then I don't need a pedal tuner. I do however, need to do my own setups now since my guitar's gone a bit out of whack and I'm not paying anybody to do it from now on. The PodXT has a chromatic tuner and I'm wondering if anybody here knows whether it's at the same level of accuracy as the TU-2 for intonation.

Re: PodXT Question

I have had no problems with the POD tuner, either with the 2.0 or the xt Live.

IIRC, there were some minor issues with the 1.0.

Re: PodXT Question

Yeah, the POD 1.0 is a little...well...craptacular. The 2.0 and the XT are real solid though.

*shameless plug* I got me a POD up in the trading post right now...might be right up yer alley ;) */shameless plug*

Re: PodXT Question

I've used it to set my guitar's intonation no problem...It was my only tuner for a while.

Of course, my Peterson strobostomp does a better job, but the reasons for that are fairly obvious ;).

Re: PodXT Question

i will say that the TU-2 isn't very accurate...ok for stage, not so much for intonation.
The guyatone pedal tuner is 3x more accurate, uses less real estate, and cheaper than the boss.
