i voted for the full shred. I use it in two of my guitars and it's a killer combo with my dimes in the bridges(i use different tunings and downtuning floyds on stage is just a pain so i have to guitars for alternate tuning waitin on stage)

I voted for the Super II. It's works great when I want to switch to high output pickup for soloing. There is little muddiness as this pickup is mostly treble too.

I've always wondered about that pickup.... was going to build a Dave Murray black strat lookalike with a Super Distortion/Super 2 setup. You think it'd do metal well?

The A2P is a beautiful sounding neck bucker.It doesn't get boomy like the 59n. I have one in the neck of my Tele running thru a 250K pot and it sounds like a big Gibson jazzbox, I don't think the 59 I have in my other Tele would handle the 250K too well, it already has that sound with the 500k pots.

I have not used my neck pickup in the past so I put other, but I an going to put a mini 59n in my charvel, and try it out. I would also like to try a Jazz and a Seth in the bridge, might have to get one of those build yourself Les Paul or
PRS copies. :dance:

I was also thinking of putting a Vintage rails in the Charvel also.

For ridiculously sick depths of brutality and pummeling bass fat, I urge you to attempt an Invader (bridge design) in the neck of at least 1 guitar.

You won't be wired for diversity, but damn it'll punch you in the face !
It's a speaker thumper for true !

I vote APH1 because the A2 feels so sweet. However, I must say the DIMARZIO VIRTUAL PAF really competes well for feel and tone in this category

Only tried the Jazz and the Seth, both in 335 style guitars and my
preferences are for a bluesy, slightly raunchy jazz tone.

I prefered the Seth. I think it gets the "buttery" description of
any pickup I've heard, plus the unpottedness gives a somewhat
complex chime to to sustained notes.

The jazz is even and bright, and splits nice too. But it is a little
bit on the hifi side, and doesn't have the "maturity" and "soul" of
he Seth.

I agree with Motorhead. The Full Shred is the best kept secret of neck pups.
