portable microphone sound system

For this setup I am using Vox mini rhythm 5 which has a mic connection, but I do not want to use vocals through the amp. I am looking for a separate system that will just give me a little amplification and tones to the vocals. I am looking for cheap say $100. I know you get what you pay for. Its just for practice and playing for friends. Nothing elaborate. Any suggestions.

Fishman Loudbox mini...used. Might be able to find one for 150.

i have a loudbox mini and i love it, dont know if youll find one that cheap though. you can probably find a powered speaker for that price. simple and easy to use. many have at least high and low eq as well as volume and usually at least one mic and one line input

Any powered speaker
Kustom makes some that sell new for $100 or less
Harbinger or Phonic have PA systems and powered speakers in that range
