HI GUys, hOWS IT GOING?(NO more ****ing hails, now i got lobotomised from my period in Germany. ahahahahah im POLITE now. )
I recently , after a furious GAS ATtack(im still under the GAS SPELL) , bought 3 pickup sets : 1 duncan Blackouts set in white. 1 emg Hetfield Set. 1 emg 57-66 Set
Are you guys interested in a review of those pickups? i havent installed the blackouts. ill do it as soon as i get the D activators set.
My main goal is to have my OWN set. with the concentration of mid bass, mids, high mids, and the Bass and HIghs frequencies well balanced enough to keep things homogeneous. I think ill end up doing the SD Custom shop set. i think its the only way.
I have the following sets in my list : Bare knuckles - Black hawks set. juggernaut bridge, aftermath bridge. and ill be searching for the ideal bare knjckle neck pickup. i ve tried 3 pickups. i liked one, EMERALD Neck, but it lacks some bite and output and a little more compression. but its awesome. ill try 3 more and if i cant find a good BK neck pickup, ill give up.
I already find 2 EMGS that i love in the neck. EMG 60A, and not the 66 . ahahahah
from seymour duncan, i COULDNT Find any pickup, in full size humbucker. EXCEPT, the single coil sized humbucker, hot rails in the neck.
and from the dimarzio line, THe Gravity Storm neck is awesome.
SO, im asking that because theres a long time i dont post an interesting review thread here, and maybe theres not enough 57-66 reviews. i had a hard time trying to find good clips of those pickups. they either sounded TOO BRIGHT AND THIN, or the video didnt have enough quality.
the same to the james hetfield set
I feel that amp simulators, pedalboards and digital modeling technologies sound as good as ****, but its not Good at all to do demo and comparison demos between stuffs. it ROUNDS everything too much and makes the small and medium details imperceptible.
Am i right here? i prefer real amp demos.
SO, let me hear from you.
