Possibly a newb question...

I've been looking at the 59 classic pickup and the JB classic, and i have a question. Does the JB have 4-wire setup? I have a push pull pot and I want to wire it for reverse polarity and i know i need a 4-wire pickup at the bridge at least.. do the JB's have them standard?

Btw, I was aiming for a really good mellow clean tone and to have a lot of output for distortion. If any other good suggestions, throw em at me.

Yeah, JB's have 4 conductor wiring. The '59 comes both with single conductor and 4-conductor wiriing, so if you want the 4-wire, be sure of which you are getting.

I think you mean reverse phase, not reverse polarity. The JB has 4 wires, the '59 typically has only two, but it can be ordered with 4. If all you want is a phase switch, you only need one pickup with 4 conductors, although you might want to get both of them with 4 conductors in case you decide you want to wire up some other type of wiring trick.

Haha.. yeah i meant reverse phase, but thanks for the help I went ahead and ordered them both.
