this summer I painted a strat shell pink. This summer I changing it to grafitti yellow because now everyone is getting pink lol.

Good choices though Led Zepp.

Actually, I can't wait until the 50w 3 channel is released later on this year, but I've really been wanting to try these out for a while.

Re: Post your current GAS

joelap...that's funny your going from pink to yellow...my current #1 strat is grafitti yellow with a maple neck and my next strat will be pink...but not shell i want a wild more vibrant slightly metallic (can we say hello 80's haha) pink. but that's not my current GAS, it's just on the long list. i think my next guitar will be one of the ibanez SZ series (not sure yet though) since i need another mahogany body/neck guitar with a JB/Jazz combo to be a back up to my schecter just in case.

It's very simple, really:

I love my V-Amp (so much so that I bought it twice, since the first one was stolen) but I've never been quite satisfied with its attempt to mimmick the Big Muff. It never seems quite buzzy or fuzzed out enough. So I want a real one. I'd buy it tomorrow, if I weren't in the process of buying new knobs, mounting rings and pickups for my in-coming LP copy.

ernie ball music man silhouette

or

hot rodded warmoth strat project, mahogany body, ebony fretboard, Distortion and two cool rails

or hot rodded warmoth tele project, mahogany body, ebony fretboard, hot rails bridge and mini humbucker neck.

Re: Post your current GAS

My current gas is for my mom to drive me back to the shop I got my Classic 30 from so I can try out a Blues Junior. If I prefer the BJ to the Classic 30 then I'm trading it in for the BJ+Ts9. If I don't like it more, then I'm exchanging my classic 30 for a different one. Theirs just way too much tube rattle/whole amp shakes at low volumes/speaker crackles. Something is wrong.

Re: Post your current GAS

My GAS has gone all the way to Gretsch and BC Rich, but while I'm 16, I'm always a dreamer.

Right now, I'm into the EBMM Silhouette in Radiance Red with Black Ice pickguard, changing pups to '59 in neck, Hotrails(n) in mid, and Custom in bridge. It will look similar to this but with a humbucker in the neck (picture is the Silhouette Special model), a maple fretboard and have a more flashy red finish.

And, a beautiful Schecter C-1 Classic in 2-Tone Sunburst with the stock pup config of Jazz/JB

and last but not least...

an ENGL Screamer 50 Combo!

All hopefully before I reach age 25.

Re: Post your current GAS

I'll spare you the really expensive stuff I'll never lay hands on... ;)
SM-1n
SH-5
And a makeover of my blueshawk:
Antiquity Soapbars, new tuners, and maybe some work on the neck (the shape hurts my hand)

Re: Post your current GAS

Every Classic 30 I've ever touched had that problem.
