Early 2000's Epi LP Custom. It used to be a vintage sunburst before I took a lot of the finish off and stained the back, sides, and neck.
Pickups are Burstbucker 2 & 3.

Re: Post Your Les Paul Picture Thread

The white Greco finally sold so I took one last group shot of mine.

From left to right:
  • Greco Mint Collection LP Custom.
  • Burny Les Paul Custom with a pair of SDUGF special pickups Phat Staple.
  • My #1, a 1983 Burny Super Grade. It normally doesn't look quite this heavy metal.
  • Greco EG1000C. Probably the most "resonant" guitar I have.
  • The old "Stellar" LP clone that Kac once sold me.
  • (missing: my recently sold TV yellow LP special)

Re: Post Your Les Paul Picture Thread

^ That Burny looks killer with those Phat Staples in it! How do they sound?

Well that one is like no other. The phat staples with their rod magnets (and long ones) make the whole thing a bit like a Tele, but with the fat mahogany body and short scale. In addition this particular les paul body'n'neck has noticeably more highs and bass the the others. The neck pickup with full chords can be a bit earthquaky, though.

Thank you!! I Love the look of it, but it's been aweful tight. It is finally starting to open up.

That sounds like it would be a lot of fun to play around with. Cosmetically those pickups are perfect for that LP

Re: Post Your Les Paul Picture Thread

I wish I had this combo when I was playing in bands. Sigh. Youth is wasted on the young, gear is wasted on the office jockeys.
