Post your modded Strats!

I confess that my dislike of Strats was formed long before I really became knowledgeable about modding. One of these days I must get a Strat and try to defile it properly hehe. :D

I am with you I always hated Strats until I owned one. I found the Black one at a bus stop one night. It was a SSS Tuxcedo, ugly and not functional for what I needed. Once I got it dialed into my needs I fell in love with it and built the sunburst Strat.

A friend gave me this a few years back. I swapped out the ceramic pickups and smoothed the rough fret ends. It now has a vintage wind A3 in the neck and bridge along with an RWRP A5 in the middle. Interesting sounds in the notch positions.

What is this? A guitar for ANTS?!

The photo needs to be at least... three times bigger than this.

Here's MY Swiss Army guitar...
DiMarzio DP188 neck,
SD-that-I-can't-remember middle,
I believe it's a JB Jr. bridge,
Ghost piezo saddles, controlled by a gutted Fishman preamp,
blend pot between the Fishman and the magnetics, standard 5-way blade (boring, I know), Fender S1 in the volume knob which switches the coils in the bridge and neck pups between series and parallel, front tone pot is a master low-pass, and the rear pot is a master high-pass, all pots are 250k, staggered Sperzel tuners, which didn't quite do the trick, so now there are 2 roller string trees...
