Post your rig!

Re: Post your rig!

If you're talking about mine......BRILLIANT!
But this is a Warmoth ash body, B. Hefner maple/ebony neck, Callaham vintage spec bridge and The Creamery custom wound pickups.....so it had better sound good!!

I think you can get pretty close buying a MIM and swapping pickups to tell you the truth.

Re: Post your rig!

yeah its just I like humbuckers and I like fenders but the american HH are PRICEY

Re: Post your rig!

I'd say go for a MIM with singles......you've already got humbuckers with your SG......no need to go for same, same. The MIM pickups are ceramic and wound hot anyhow, but have enough single bite to sound like what they are. The 2011 MIM I had was loaded with switchcraft bits and CTS pots too.

Re: Post your rig!

I'm currently sitting at my desk eating lunch, so I don't have a picture to post. Had to sell my gear a few years ago, and all I have left is my cheap stuff. My amp is a modified Peavey Bandit 1x12

I have a bandit also. . I think they are a fantastic amp especially if you run some external speakers lol

Re: Post your rig!

For the past few months all I've been playing through is my Eleven Rack and two Marshall 1960 Cabinets that are spread about ten feet apart. It's HUGE sounding. Everyone that has come over here and played through it has been absolutely blown away.

As in literally? Like the people who have played it have not been found after striking a single power chord?

Over the phone I've literally heard people dying in the background as Jolly solos and laughs maniacally.

Lost hearing in my right ear.

Wake up in cold sweats.

The repercussions of Jolly's rig are far reaching.

I have my choices. Since these pics were taken I have replaced the Peavey can with a Marshall 1960AX Loaded with greenbacks. The Komet and Shiva are A/B'd so I can switch between them. I really prefer the cleans of the Komet and the drive if the Shiva.

Re: Post your rig!

'68 Strat and '83 Fender Super Champ

Pedal board with pedals on it

And occasionally this...Ulbrick Verbovibe 30

Cheers........................................ wahwah

Re: Post your rig!

the hot tubes on it's own I don't like its a little too trebly and farty but stacked with the Hardwire SC-2 valve distortion with the gain set low gives me instant Queens of the Stone Age chunky sputtery tone... I really dig its flavor when stacked I use it in songs where I'm going from crunch (just Hardwire) to super dirty/heavy (hardwire with hot tubes on too)

Well worth the low price of 60 bucks plus shipping
