My gear and software has too much latency from me to record directly. I need to purchase some gear. But that's gotta wait until I can find a job at a company that hasn't outsourced all its employees to India!
In the meantime, the money I have coming in is used to keep the mortgage company at bay! A box delivered to my doorstep by UPS with soundcards and recording software inside might as well say, "Divorce Kit", on the label. :blackeye:
Don't get me started on that damn it! I have no disposable income! In the meantime the friggin DOW is soaring above 12,000. Great economy they tell me! But the middle class sure as hell ain't gettin any of it! I guess the DOW is soaring because the corporate fat cats are stuffin they're pockets w/ the dough they've saved by using cheap third-world labor. WOW! Record profits! Better than under Clinton! Son of a @!^%&*()^%$#$!
I've gone from $100,000 to Wall-Mart associate income! If I get a job with a good salary, then they want me to be a "CONTRACTOR" for 3 months! Then its out the door again! Barely, enough time to get caught up with what I owe! :blackeye:
I had a short 3 month gig with Hewlette Packard earlier this year. They bought out Compaq and they own a "FRIGGIN HUGE" office complex that used to be Compaq headquarters. Now it's all empty! Only a hand full of HP employees work there. Everyone else is overseas. They're leasing the place out to Exxon Mobil. Dell is the same way I understand. So I've been busy working for slave wages and trying to start my own company. Some bastard called me to see if I wanted to take a job in the "GREEN ZONE" in friggin Iraq! The sad part is, I almost considered it!
So right now my problems are a little more serious than buying some friggin octapus card for my PC just so I can win your approval! :smash: :argue:
