Ok, here is my problem. I have a Thunderbird bass, and the 1970's wiring diagrams say 500k pots for volume, 250K pots for tone.
I have just installed a Basslines SSB-4 set, and the wiring diagram says 250k pots all round.
My question is, is there a problem with using 500k volume pots instead of 250k pots? Also, is there any advice for buying pots, CTS or any other specs I should be aware of?
