Pots & caps for HH pickguard in Strat SH-14 and 59

I'm taking out the Custom 5 and 59 in my Les Paul and replacing them with a set of WB firewaters.

I really like the Duncans so thought I would chuck them in my black strat.

I just want your opinion on pots and caps.

I was thinking a 250k volume for the SH-14, a 500k volume for the 59 and a 500k master tone.

Pots I am unsure. What say the pu guru's?

Thanks guys.

I was going to suggest the same thing. the Custom V is mighty bright.

Yep, which is why I was thinking the 250k volume for it.

It's a great pickup though, sounded fantastic in my Lester.

I'm also replacing the caps in my Lester with PIO caps, so I will have two spare .022 orange drop caps. Don't know if they would be the way to go though. I have heard that the 59 really benfiits from a .015 cap?

A point .015 may not be benificial to the Custom 5 though.

59 has lots of treble too - a 0.022 won't kill it. the 0.022 Orange Drop should work just fine
