Pots ~ Phat Cat, Jazz ~ please help

I'm gonna be putting a Phat Cat bridge and Jazz neck into my fernandes, from experience what pot volues do you think I should use?

I suppose the SD schematics call for 500K, but tech support said I should just try the 250K in my Tele with a Phat Cat neck. I did, and I haven't found a need to change it. From what I hear, the Jazz works with 250K and up, too. I guess I'd try it with what you have in there first, unless they are crappy pots to begin with.

I have used all of them with 500K's with great success and tone!!!

Are you saying I should use 500K's?

Come on Theodie, just tell me one way or the other, I can change it down the road, but when I first install these bad boys in my Fernandes should I opt for 500 or 250k pots?

I used 500k with my Phat Cats - work great.

I use 500k pots with the PC's in my sheraton and I can't complain.

Yep, 500k CTS pots and oragne drop caps are what I use with my Phat Cats.

Sounds killer in a LP.

It all depends on:

70% personal taste for tone
30% the tonal nature of your guitar (e.g., if it's a naturally bright, thin-sounding hunk of wood, go with 250k)

Ok... so I ended up puttin' the Jazz in my ESP, oh well...
The Phat Cat sounds great in my Fernandes with a 250k pots!!

I'm running the jazz with a single 500K volume pot no tone pot.
I like it a lot paired with the Invader.
