Pots!?

I posted this here because it seemed to fit better here rather than the other places on the board!?

Does anyone have experience with these mini 500k pots - do the smaller pots sound as good as the normal full sized ones!?

Im asking because I just changed the electrics in a semi-hollow and the full size pots were a real struggle to get through the F hole!! If I knew these were available I probably would have used them instead!
Thoughts?

Mini pots are usually easier to turn than the full size ones. The feel in operation is the biggest difference. I'm not sure if they will be as durable as the full size ones.

I've never had a fast turning mini pot. But I get the cheap batches.

The biggest difference might be in operation cycles, something like 5,000 turns for expected life of the mini pot vs 10,000 turns for the larger pot, but you'd have to check their website for the specification sheet for both to find out. For a good brand like CTS I wouldn't expect any sonic difference, and though I don't use CTS minis I do prefer mini pots to full size and have had no problems with them (I use Alpha and Bourns among others)..
