Okay, so last night I fired the Tweaker up for the first time in a while (doing a sound test for how much soundproofing I'll need in the house from the basement). Let the amp warm up for a while, started a loop in my TC Electronic Alter Ego, ran the Master Volume up to a whopping 2.5 (75db at 3ft.), and then wandered around the house, seeing how well I heard the amp around the outside of the house, and around inside (aside: good news - could barely be heard outside, and I honestly think I would have to seriously crank it before the neighboars would complain. Bad news - inside was a whole 'nother story, but that's not why I'm posting, soooo...)
After shutting off the loop, I leaned over the head to start turning it down and shutting it off, and noticed the top of the power tube on the right was glowing red, while the power tube on the left was not.
In the historic words of so many people, I thought "Well, that's odd..."
So, what's up? Need new power tubes? Need biasing?
