Powering my pedals... help! What is for me?

My pedalboard will soon be made up of:

Route 66 (standard Boss supply)
Big Muff (I'll add a plug for standard boss suply)
Small Stones (I'll replace the plug or simply use an adaptor and use it with the same boss suply)
Plexitone D running off the wall so no need for a supply)
Guvnor (Boss again)
Crybaby (boss supply again)
Some other future distortion (hopefully running off a boss supply too)


So you get it, I'd need a cheap, no frills pluginthewall solution to power 5 Boss type pedals and a Small Stone, which uses a different adaptor.

I was thinking the Ispot. I'd check it out but I'm on 56K dial up right now so I can't, the page won't even load up hehe... would this fit my needs? Thanks guys!

+1 to the 1-spots . . . cheap, quiet, and you can power quite a few pedals off of one.

I spent the $$$ on a VooDoo Labs Pedal Power II. It's hands down one of the best/most important pieces of gear I have ever bought. I can't say enough good about it.

i use a pedal power II and it rocks but i keep a 1spot for my reverb pedal since it eats a 9v in three hours

Ok so I'd need just need the ispot combo pack and I should be ok hehe... Maybe an international adaptor for UK but it says i shouldn't need one. I think I'll get just that Thanks!

Wouldn't voltage differences be a problem if you order from the States..?

There's additional power filtering that goes on with a dedicated pedal power supply to keep pedals less noisy.

Another option Pierre is to get a boss NS-2 or a TU-2 and get a boss daisy chain. The NS-2 and TU-2 have 9V out as well as 9V in, and thats how I run my pedalboard. I have a 9V adaptor into my NS-2, and then daisy chains out to 5 effects. IIRC the daisy chain can handle 7 effects or so.

I've been using one of thses for about three years now and have had no problems with it:

I use it to power a Vox V848 wah, Boss TU-2, Boss GE-7, Boss DD-3 and more recently Line6 Verbzilla.

I like my 1-spot...Alternatives in the same range are Rocktron DC-on-tap and GodLyke. They are all 220V/110V, no voltage ratings issues.

+1 on the Boss pedals. Add the LS2 line selector to that list.

The 1-Spot is a great deal. I'm running 6 peds on it.

But will it work in the UK? Do they use 110 or 220v systems?

They are designed to work for either 220V/110V..I am using one here in India(220V/50Hz mains)
