"Pre Selling Rituals"?

Ok, so I wanted this guitar, and my mom disagreed to buy it for me. Anyway, since I'm a responsible individual, I was thinking of selling my Epiphone LP Jr. I love the guitar, but it doesn't really "speak" to me. I only bought it because I was tired of shopping around all day, and finding things that were too expensive or too ****ty. So, what would be some good things to do before I sell it to get maximum price? :thanks:

Re: "Pre Selling Rituals"?

Clean it and put new strings on it. That's about all I can think of that would make any difference to a potential buyer.

If you changed out the pickups put the stock ones back in. Clean it and new strings if needed. Take some very good photos and document every nick, dent, and mark on the thing.

Wipe it down and take nice pix. Then fix anything that looks bad in the pix, and take pix again, for realz this time.
