Hard tail. The pictures are the ones Ray sent me. That one is mine.
I really enjoy hardtails. No hassles. I have a couple of Ibanez with tremelos if I want to go all bar happy.

Yeah that would be interesting. He also has aged copper guitar models avaliable. Copper plated aluminium. They look pretty cool as well. Maybe the next one.

I wonder if the copper turns green (like Lady Liberty). I really dig the copper, though. I'd imagine it might get hot in the sun.

Kinda cool you can put in and remove wood plugs to fine tune the tone...

I like the plug idea myself. I suspect I am going to have some fun tinkering with sound. I think one of the first things I will try is removing the plug on the bridge and leave the neck plugged.

Well the guitar arrived last night. Due to some technicalities which will be documented in a choose your own adventure book sometime later, it was HAND delivered by Ray. Now that is customer care.
My first thoughts are pictures do not do this guitar justice. This has the best fit and finish I have seen on a guitar. Ray explained how he makes these and how he engineered it, pretty neat. Everything is tight, not even the smallest gaps anywhere.
Another thought is chrome is very hard to photograph.
As it was 2:30 am when I got home, I only had a half hour on it through earphones. It has a very clear clean sound. Keeps the dirt but just smooth sounding. I can't wait to really get a chance to open it up. I currently feel it's a hyper car stuck in a school zone.
It feels really good in the hands, I haven't weighed it but Ray says about 8 and a half pounds. Comfortable for me.
Damn it is gorgeous. Damn it feels awesome.
I called my boss and told him don't expect me in Monday. It's guitar day.
I will update later when I really get a chance to open it up.
