Price on a '77 Ibanez

A friend of mine has asked me to sell his '77 Ibanez Custom Agent. At this point, I'm looking for prices. We will probably sell locally.

As you can see there are some dings. Pickups are original - the electrics don't look like they've been touched since 1977.

What would be some ballpark prices?

That Gibson F-5 mandolin style headstock is fugly.

It's pretty messed up and those aren't stock tuners. 1977 vintage probably between 800 and 1,500 bucks.

That's a tough call. I love old Ibanez', but that thing has a good handful of obvious issues and it's a pretty niche market that type of guitar is going to appeal to. Super cool, though.

I'm guessing you could pull $450-$750 out of it. Depends on how much work you are willing to put into taking good pictures, writing a good description that really "sells" it and how long you are willing to wait for a sale...

This. Cool geet but golden age MIJ aren't bringing what they were a few years ago and the issues will cut into that. Rings, maybe-theres a guy on ibanez collector's world that makes them-but the tuners are irreplaceable. Pretty good guess on the price, too. It really is all about the pics and description.
