Price on the Holdsworth ??

Hiya guys and gals.

I'm very curious about the AH-1 humbucker in bridge
on my Mahogany, mapletop Dean Vendetta, and if
I make that change(if I can find the AH-1 for a decent price)
my BL L500L would have to jump into the neck.

Does anybody know an approx. price on the AH-1 ??

Its probably custom shop at this point. Rumor has it a JB is very close though

I was wondering the same thing...
MJ told me once that it was a JB with an Alnico II magnet??!!

Its probally a custom shop model. You would probally be better off buying 2 used JB's, taking both the screw coils and using both of those to make the pickup!

BTW squarehead, nobody can read that writing. I cant read it with that color anyway.

It is a CS pickup and is around the $160 range...maybe a little less maybe a little more.

yeah, i thought the SD holdsworth was pretty close to a double screw jb with an a2 ... i'd love to know if holdsworth really uses that pup in his carvin or not

my UGD 'shop floor custom' model was a trem spaced CC with 2 rows of screws ... i am embarrassed to say that i still havent gotten it installed to make a full report ... i REALLY hope to have time before the UGD anniversary to get it in and going ... then i'll have a black C5 (non trem) with no home

Sometimes they show up at auction for $129-169 from what I've seen. I guess that's sort of in line with new custom work. I have access to one brand new in the box if anyone's interested. If not, I may get it for myself just to say I have one. I'm sure it's a great pickup.
