Prince is/was/has always been one bad M.F. on guitar . he was :smokin: on that clip, man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prince played all of the music on every album through the '80s. He started using other musicians later on.

His first LP (yes, he's that old) said: "Produced, recorded, composed, and performed by Prince."

BTW, he was 17 when he was signed...da little twerp.

He also is capable of believably performing just about any style of music.

BTW, what software is needed for the HOF clip? I get errors in WMP.

i remember reading about this solo in a mag a year and a half ago. i thought i would never get to see it. thanks! a loooooong time ago my older friend who was a good guitar influence on me was telling me about princes guitar playing. i though naaaaaa! no way! boy was i wrong, he busted out some footy that he taped of a prince show, and he was ripping on the silliest looking guitar i ever saw, i was sold on his ability from then on.

Prince laid down the smack on SNL. I really hope that is indicative of his new disc, if it is I am going shopping!

Wow! I finally got to watch the clips. Amazing. Not surprising, but amazing. I need to see this dude live. My wife was a big fan for a long time, but tired of the less than savory songs.

Still, Prince is da (li'l) man!

i love his exits. i think hes the only person who i can actually say i enjoy his pompous actions. he is THE bomb diggity.
