Problem converting tele to nashville

Hey guys,

I installed a middle pickup and threw in a 5 way switch, and found out pretty quick that I needed a reverse-wound single coil pickup. So I tried one of those, and positions 2 and 4 are still super quiet and thin.... am I missing something? do I have to wire the pots differently?? Side note, the middle pickup sounds awesome on its own... but i want the quack!

Switch the hot and ground wires on the middle pickup.

Yah, sounds as if the middle pickup was wired out of phase.
