Problem with Ibanez tight-tune tailpiece, probably bent due to tension

The problem can be seen here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2Y8PoiruaA

The tail-piece is bent, most probably due to string tension (althouh the guitar wears 10's since 2012 that I bought it new) , and the ball-ends of the strigs dont fit to go through the holes to be securely locked , as is supposed to be done with those kind of tail-pieces. Therefore I turned the ball-ends 90 degrees and left them aganist the outside opening of their holes, as can be seen in the video. What can I do? Leave it as is? Isn't it dangerous to just rely on the tension to keep them in place? Do I order a new stock Ibanez tight-tune tail piece? Do I straighten out the one I have, somehow? (not fan of this one as it got bent once, it can be bent again). Do I install it front side -> rear, so that the strings now apply tension to the opposite direction, so that in some time (years?) it will get straightened out? Ot just go and buy an after market, a generic tail piece suitable for LP type guitars?

Tailpieces from cheap materials get bent, period. I'd buy a new, preferably from high end material, even if it costs extra. Ibby seems to have trouble with materials though... A friend recently bought a bunch of EDGE systems for his guitars and parts were failing in no time. Plus the Customer Support wasn't the best experience when he reported the problems...

You can find hardware to fit your ART on Squeebay and Treeverb quite easily.

Yes, it happens, but OTOH some products by Ibanez that they fit in low/mid-end models like the Edge Zero II trem are remarkably good. Unfortunately they save money on some minor details like screws, bolts, etc which can ruin the initial experience. About tight-tune , not to defend Ibanez, but this bridge comes stock on the Paul Gilbert signature guitar, so this can't be that bad.

stud spacing is about 76mm , I didn't find anything in ebay, classic LP spacing seems to be 3" 1/4 spacing

Have you tried buying real Ibanez parts from Ibanez Rules?

Yes, in the past. It seems that currently Rich does not have this specific part, plus he broke his hand and can't work at the moment. Very decent guy overall. Also shipping costs overseas (Greece) + import taxes is an issue as well.

Re: Problem with Ibanez tight-tune tailpiece, probably bent due to tension

Any Ibanez dealer can get factory replacement parts for that.

If you don't want to go with a direct replacement I would look for a Gotoh piece, they have most metric sizes and they have a line of cosmo black parts as well.

Gotoh has stud-stud spacing = 82mm. Tight-tune has 76mm.
