Problem with my machine head on G String

There is a white circular plastic piece that is next to the key on my G string tuner that looks like it's broken. I've uploaded a photo. What do I do with this? Can I fix it or do I gotta buy six brand new tuners just to have one that I need?

Re: Problem with my machine head on G String

looks like a spacer they use for tension adjustment on the knob
should be able to get another

remove the screw from the top of the knob
carefully remove the knob and catch the broken piece

remove a second knob carefully and examine the not broken piece
post images of those cause we are curious

what brand of guitar/tuner is it
inline or 3x3

I have some old ones if you want them

Epiphone Les Paul Standard 2007. I don't want to start removing things because I need to practice up until I replace whatever is busted. If you can post some places where I can order some spacers I'll just go for it.

Did you buy it new? If you did, that should be covered under warranty. Hopefully you have a Gibson Authorized Repair luthier in your area.

Or contact Grover directly.

Re: Problem with my machine head on G String

I went to a large hardware store and looked to see if they had any nylon washers. They did. It wasn't long before I found one that was the correct size. All I had to do was to take my reamer and slightly enlarge the inner hole. It works pretty good.

Just in case anyone else finds themselves with this problem.
