Problems with recording with pod

please can you help me. I have connected my pod 2.0 to my pc with the midisport uno 1x1 and have downloaded various free software to record with but I have had no luck. Can anyone recommend some software to record with.

So you got a midi connection. Is there any audio connection between POD and your PC?

I use a POD too and I've had really good results w/N-Track studio. You can download the trial version for free and see what you think. I just use it for mixdown from my Fostex MR-8 since I'm too cheap to spring for the full version, but lots of people use it as intended. I don't have the link, but you can find it by going to www.homerecording.com (go to the message boards and search for N-Track). Hope this helps
