Hi. I've got an Adler bodied Yamaha Pacifica which for reasons unknown, I've decided to rescue from a pawnshop. I've replaced the nut, tunners and bridge and now it's pickup time. The goal is to have some heat in the bridge and a good solid strat sound in the neck, quack, and middle slots. The bridge will get a JB or a parralell axis. Any suggestions for the neck and middle?? Im open to mini buckers as well depending on how well they split. Any suggestions would be great. Any wiring suggestions would also really help.

I'd go for 2 Classic Stacks. They will sound good with the JB, sound like a really great Strat, and still hum-cancel.

I'm pretty sure the reason is because a lot of cheap Pacificas still play great, and because they're so cheap, there's less psychological resistance to tearing them apart and experimenting with them.
