So the bridge saddles on my vintage '82 japanese superstrat is rusted out or whatnot and I can't do a proper setup. I spied the affordable ~$25 Proline strat bridge tremolo at GC and luckily it fit or so it seems.
Unfortunately I could not take out the old bridge on the vintage because two of the screws stripped thread inside the wood and won't come out without force. I didn't want to force it. Well since nice aftermarket bridge saddles go for $40-60, I decided to use parts of the cheaper Proline kit and just installed the individual bridge saddles. I also used some of the springs and the allen wrench. I decided to keep my vintage trem block too since it was bigger and denser.

It works and i was able to adjust string height and intonate as usual. And the vintage sounds good so far. Done!
