I just watched a YouTube video done by Rob at Anderton's and he gave a rundown of his five favorite guitars. One of them was a PRS 305 -- a very pricey limited edition model. It had what looks like single coils. But they're dead quiet. And they sounded unbelievably great. I've done some searches to see if those pickups are available apart from the guitars, but I've had no luck so far. So, next best, I'm wondering if SD has made anything comparable to these pickups. I would love to put a set in my Strat.

I know it isn't easy to make such a comparison, but I am curious. Is there a set of Strat pickups (SD, I'm assuming) that you might recommend that would come close to the sound quality of those in this PRS 305? I've just spent a bit of time listening to the various demos of SD pickups, hoping to find that same tone, and so far, I haven't found it. But perhaps I've missed something?
