Arrgghh! Sacrilege.

If you really must do this, checkout the DiMarzio P-90-sized humbucking pickups. The Super Distortion style model is the obvious choice.

Welcome to the forum, BTW.

I have tried that, I like the neck P-90 but I don't like the bridge at all, and I like the idea of a P-90 neck and a humbucker bridge as with the gibson BFG. the amps I use are Tech21 California into Tech21 Power Engine, and sometimes a Fender Hot Rod deluxe. Playing style Blues Metal think the band Pig Iron Thanks again.

You could always go Duncan Custom Shop, and get whatever you want in p90 sizes. Just keep that in mind. Of course, it's a bit more pricey, but still much better option then routing a perfectly fine guitar.

What sound do you need out of the bridge that you are not getting? Duncan has three P-90's, each P-90ish but very different.

In fact, they may Duncans. Don't know if that year/model has the Vintage/Custom Duncan's or not. If so, that is an interesting combo, but definitely not for everyone!

Re: PRS McCarty P-90 Humbucker Bridge

Thank again. But I have tried the P-90 route, I am going with a bridge Humbucker or maybe a Trembucker. I was wondering the Bridge pickup polepieces don't line up as the neck does and I notice the the string spacing on the bridge is 2". Does it really matter if all the polepieces don't line up. As I see on most guitars with stoptail pieces the bridge polepieces dont line up any imput, again thanks.
