PRS pickups match up to the Duncan C-5?

Hey guys!

I have been checking into maybe buying a new set of PRS pickups but a buddy of mine has been using the C-5 successfully in his McCarty so it has me thinking. I never tried one in my PRS but was afraid it would sound thin since most PRS pickups have a lot of midrange. Any thoughts on PRS pickups such as the Dragon IIs or others compared to the C-5? I hear over and over that the C-5 rips in a Mccarty. Hmmmm.

It really depends what kind of music you will be playing.

I just recently ordered a CE22. I love the Dragon II's for bassy Jazz, Blues, and Crunch rock, but they don't seem to articulate well under high-gain. I plan on putting a SH-5 in the bridge. From what I've heard it looks like a good match. But then again, it isn't a McCarty and you don't have the same tastes in tone as me.
