PRS S2 Series - what do we make of these then?

Re: PRS S2 Series - what do we make of these then?

My experience so far has been to lead me to steer clear of PRS's with scratch plates. Maybe I'm more susceptible to it than most, but I find they suffer majorly for static. So give me one without, and I'm happy.

I have one of the US-made EGII models. As a guitar, it is fine. If, like Glenn/Astro, you strongly associate the PRS brand with carved flamed or quilted maple tops, the plain vanilla opaque finish and plastic of the EGII will disappoint.

I'm actually really into their seafoam green finish
