PRS SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollow

Kind of interested in one of these, any owners here?

I am digging the blue version GC has right now, been thinking about it

I'd love a core Mira but I actually want a trem which isn't a thing on the Mira. The CE S/H is very nice but I don't know if I need to go there.

I want a trem and I use a pedalboard, what the hell is happening to me?:dunno::laugh2:

a friend of mine has one and he loves it, his is blue too. not sure where he got it but coulda been gc.

I haven't seen the newer SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollows up close, but I have a newer SE Custom 24 that I absolutely love and the "Zach Myers" single-cut semi-hollow has been nagging at me ever since I played one in person. It's crazy nice and a beast for the price.

I concur! Really the only reason I haven't snagged one and stuck with my Custom 24...l don't use the trem a ton, but I hate not having the option!

PRS really does a nice job of making the curly/flame pop. Too bad they didn't sand all of the glue out at the book match joint.

I was wondering what was going on with that. It almost looks like they inlaid a strip of wood in there.

It's just that where there is any glue left that hasn't been completely sanded away, it doesn't take the stain there as well. Five more minutes of sanding could have possibly taken care of that. It's too bad. I'd bet that you wouldn't see this kind of problem on their regular line of guitars, only on the SE line.

They might be timed on how much sanding they are allowed to do per piece.

I've had a SE Custom solid body since March 2020 and it's a machine. Took me a while to come to grips with the 85/15s pickups but I love them now. They do things no other pickups will do.

I'm not familiar with the 85/15's. What is it that they do well?
