I have one!! Incredible guitar!! I replaced the pickups with my late 90's JB and an early 90's 59nJ I got from Dr. K. Now this guitar is alive!! Sounds perfect, feels perfect, looks perfect, lightweight. Just an amazing guitar all around.

Stop it. You bast***s. I am trying my very hardest not to buy a Korina PRS. I'm glad that the SE is White Limba. If it were Black Limba, temptation would get the better of me.

No denying they are nice guitars. I came extremely close to buying one a few months back. It sounded good unplugged, it sounded good plugged in. The only thing that kept me from buying it was the frets. All my other guitars I've owned have been shredsticks with jumbo frets, and I've become used to comfortable with how large frets feel. The vintage sized frets on the SE Korina felt uncomfortably weird and strange. Maybe a silly thing to keep one from buying a guitar. Had the guitar had slightly bigger frets, I'd own it now. But it didn't and it gave me enough pause to put the guitar down and escape out of Guitar Center having purchased only the strings I had come for.
Another thought, though perhaps this being nit-picky on my part: I'm not sure I like the fixed intonation one-piece wrap around bridges they offer on that model. Yeah it's great for not having to fiddle with the intonation when using standard tuning and a standard set of strings. However, what happens when it I want to use another tuning and a different arrangement of string gauges than what comes in a regular set of 9s, 10s or 11s? That non-adjustable bridge doesn't appear to allow intonation adjustment without permanent modification.
But enough of my hand-wringing. 'Tis a good guitar. I'll probably eventually get one anyway, despite my grumbling.

The frets are more a medium or medium jumbo, and I'm comparing them to what I have on my other guitars. Definitely not vintage size.
As for the bridge, changing string gauges/tuning hasn't been a problem for me. I've had 9-42, 9-46 and 10-46 on it tuned to both standard A440 and down 1/2 step. No issues whatsoever. There is some adjustment via the allen screws on the back of the bridge behind the posts but I haven't had to adjust them at all.
Now, when I replaced the nut, it became EXTREMELY important to get those slots cut PERFECT or the intonation was off. That's one good thing about this wraparound. You want to do nut work? Use one of these to make sure you get it dialed in just right.

Yeah, I put a set of Ernie Ball 10-46 on it and it sounds much better. A little to bright with the 9's that come installed.

I use 9-46 and it has the perfect balance for me with those.
The one thing that totally surprised me was the wiring in this. It was the neatest I have ever seen on an import guitar. You'd swear it was wired in the US facility. Rather than just globs of solder and wires everywhere, the time was taken to make sure the solder joints are done well, no messy work, the wires are neatly tied up with a zip tie. Just little details I have seen only on USA made instruments.
I use 9-46 and it has the perfect balance for me with those.

I've seen zip ties & clean wiring on imports, besides PRS, although PRS is one of the best. Seen a lot fewer mini-pots too. I think more companies are tighetening up their quality due to stiff competition. The bar keeps getting raised.

PRS SE One + replacement American pickup = big fun.
I have tried my regular mahogany variant with SD Antiquity P90, Custom Shop JB90 humbucker and, most recently, TV Jones Classic (Filter'Tron clone) pickups.
My gut instinct is that the Korina SE One needs a humbucker.

If the frets on a SE Korina I played are medium jumbo, then Ibanez and Jackson use Super Extra Jumbo. I thought that the Japanese Ibanez and Jackson shred sticks used a medium jumbo or something approximately equivalent to a 6105 wire. But it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong.
I'm not saying that the frets on the SE Korina Singlecut or SE Korina One are bad, just the the ones on the Korina Singlecut I played were smaller than I was used to and thus felt weird and strange.
