PRS SE Tremonti for Down Tuning

I'm considering buying an SE Tremonti and using it for C# standard (mainly Sabbath) and other down tuned stuff. I hear nothing but good reviews of PRS's SE line and of the Tremonti in particular and I want something relatively cheap.

What I want to know is will the bridge be able to be intonated if I tuned down? I know that on some PRS guitars you can't intonate and this may be an issue. Has anyone used any PRS (SE or normal) or this model in particular for down tuned work and what are your thoughts?

Thanks!

not the same model, but probably the same bridge;
i have an SE soapbar II that i've set-up and intonated in C# IIRC, and i believe it really needed that intonation adjustment, but after that it was fine. i don't know if it'll go all the way down to B, but with all the variants involved it'll be very difficult to get any definite info second-hand.

that trebley thing that all PRS' seem to have is still present, even with drastic EQing; sounded great to me, but wasn't what i'd call sabbathy. bear in mind that i thought a 2xA5 PCb in the neck of an LP was sabbathy, though.

basically, i think you're going to end up sneaking into the shop with a string-winder, a clip-on tuner, and an allen key.

Thanks for the reply!

I actually got some good feedback on the PRS forum. The SE Tremonti Custom has an adjustable tailpiece so intonation shouldn't be an issue. They also suggested the SE Clint Lowery model that is coming out soon and that looks intriguing as well. Either would work for down tuning. The Lowery actually already comes tuned to drop B. (C# standard) As far as tone goes I'm not looking to nail Sabbath's tones, I just want to be in the same tuning =).

The C Lowery looks sexy, and they finally decided to use a bridge you can actually intonate
