I suck enough with 6 strings. I don't want to be 33% worse than I already am.

Yeah, I would be terrible on an 8 string, but it might be nice for chord melody stuff. If I was doing 2 handed stuff, I'd rather get a Stick, as it is built for it. But I could see using more interesting chord voicings with some really cool low notes.

I'd use it more for jazz than for metal.
