Prs torero trade for epi explorer 84 RI

A guy wants to trade me his prs torero for my epi explorer 84 reissue. He is also going to throw in a crunch lab and liquifire pickup. I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger. Is this a good deal?

Do you like the Explorer and have you played the Torero? Do you want a trem/Floyd Rose? Obviously, two very different beasties. But, assuming good playing examples of each and equivalent condition, it's probably a fair enough deal both ways.

very different guitars, really. Are you playing the explorer? Is this something you will regret? Do you want a PRS? All things that need to be answered.

I don't really play the explorer. I was looking to sell it. I bought it thinking I wanted a hard tail with emgs but it wasn't my thing. The prs has a Floyd and emgs but I'll prob swap them out. The prs will most likely end up being sold but I'd like to play it for a bit

I looked at reverb the price gap is pretty wide. I seen the prs go from 950-1500

The Epi probably sells used at the cost of the two extra pickups
The PRS in fair condition has a much higher trade value

There aren't any of my model on reverb but they are similar in retail price. I think I'm going to donit

I'm liking it a lot more than the explorer so far. I've taken the tremleno off and installed the detuna. Idk if I like the detuna because of how loud it is when I release the trem arm and it hits the block. Maybe just needs some fine tuning. I'm excited to get those emgs out and see how it sounds with the liquifire and crunch labs
