PRS Torero vs Schecter Hellraiser vs LTD mh-1000 or h-1001

Title says it all. All I want to know is if there is a difference in quality, tone, or feel between these three. can't find a lot of info on the PRS but from every video I've seen, the tone is incredible. If I could find a place to play all three I would. I only have personal experience with the hellraiser.

Guitar Center or Sam Ash would be a good place to start.

I happen to have played a Hellraiser C-1 today. Great looking guitar. Very nice tone and playability. Comfortable neck, string spacing, bridge height, etc. You might come away preferring one of the others, but it's definitely worth checking out.

Well the neck profiles are where you're going to see the biggest difference. The Schecter is going to sound a bit different due to having slightly different pickups. The PRS will sound a bit brighter due to the Floyd and the ebony board, though this will be somewhat mitigated by the shorter scale length.

Don't forget the inlays. Which guitar has the prettiest abalone inlays?

I agree. I might tolerate a moderate amount of it on a guitar like the Schecter.

The C1 is an exceptional guitar. Tone, playability, quality, looks, etc. Can't be beat, in my book. Especially by the LTD. And it's head and shoulders above the PRS.

I've got different pups in mine which made a huge difference in the sound.

Difference in quality? Depends...I've played some Schecters and lower end PRS that were hit and miss BUT for the most part both brands offer great quality for the price.

I would suggest playing several of each model and finding the one you really like–never played two guitars that felt identical.
