hi everyone !
i have a 5-way yamaha type sealed switch and want to wire my pg's prs style
can anyone post a diagram , or direct me to one ?

which yamaha switch is it? There are a number of different ones. Some have special internal configuration which defies analysis without a schematic. Post a photo please?

sorry this took so long , never loaded pictures onto my computer before

i'm not sure if this switch will work for coil splitting ?
any wiring diagrams that will work for hb's would be appreciated , i'm a novice at wiring too

Are you after the full 'bucker/split inner coils/split coils inner in series/split outer coils/full 'bucker combo? If it is you need a specially configured switch from Schaller (a mega switch 'P' I believe) and you also need to have the magnet reversed on one of the pickups. If this isn't what you want disregard all of this.

that is what i thought i ordered but got this switch instead
i'm still looking for diagrams i can use tho , can't wire anything without them

now i have a diagram and a part number for the proper switch
should have tried stewmac first , i actually paid more for the switch i got
i'll post a photo once i get it together
