In the world of boutique picks, these are a bargain. How about $30 to $75 for Blue Chip picks? They're made by hand, thus the prices (these aren't made in China).

I won a contest last year for some Gravity picks from SD. I'm not a huge fan of them. Good sound, but for my purposes I prefer Ultex or Tortex Jazz picks.

Not a joke. Those are probably the picks made from mammoth ivory. I don't think they're fossilized yet though. It's a very rare and semi precious material that probably isn't that easy to work. It has to cost a bunch. Same with Blue Chip picks - they're made of some kind of exotic synthetic material that is extremely costly to the manufacturer (I've heard that their $35 pick cost them over $25 for the material). But the proof is in the playing. A lot of players swear by some of these picks. Me, I'm addicted to Gravity picks, which fortunately aren't at the high end of the boutique pick pricing.

Ha, very observant of you. One thing I do know about for sure is Gravity Picks' quality and playability. They're all I use anymore. But thanks for the helpful reply.

Yeah, every style is available in their Mini size, which is also called Mini Jazz - they are that size.

I wanted to update this thread for those who search for these. I ordered a 2mm XL Stealth last week. I got my pick, and a bonus pick today. I'm not sure if they were running a black Friday special or something, but they also sent a 3 mm XL Sunrise with the grip hole. Cool little bonus, but I don't know if it was a mistake or not. Either way, I wasn't charged extra so it's a win.
My first impression is positive. Surprisingly, it didn't take long to get used to the extra thickness, since I normally use .88 mm picks. The feel is similar to celluloid or Ultex between your fingers, and pretty much everything about it is comparable to that. I prefer using the Stealth shape over the Sunrise, but that could also be the extra millimeter of material I didn't like as much. The edge bevel is very sharp and I don't feel like I lose any dynamics or feel with them. Ultimately I like them, but I'm not sure there's any huge improvement or advantage over my other picks, other than the longevity they claim to have. That remains to be seen but I remain optimistic. Hope this is worth posting, but I figure someone might like to hear a first time users thoughts.
