5 dollars for a f'ing pair of strings. I can go to best buy and get the same strings for 3.97. I mean I love supporting local... but give me a break.

LOL

Re: PSA: Strings and Beyond/RS Guitarworks Sales

@ $5 a "pair",that would be expensive...

;)

$5 - that's pretty cheap. That's about £3 a pack. In the UK, you'd pay twice that for most brands at the very least. Sometimes three times that much.

For bass strings, the best you'll get for a decent brand is £20 a pack, that's about $33.

Thanks for the PSA, wish that site had the string gauges I wanted, I would order 'em. Been getting them from guitar center lately...

Re: PSA: Strings and Beyond/RS Guitarworks Sales

Got myself 12 packs of these and some picks. Qualified for Free Shipping and they sent it 2 Day Priority. Should be here on Saturday. Highly impressed with S&B.

Re: PSA: Strings and Beyond/RS Guitarworks Sales

all these great sales and deals, and Im so broke.. $@!%!@#!$ I need an RS guitar works kit for my 2008 LP so I can take out the circuit board.

Thanks for the heads up! And the torment.... haha

Re: PSA: Strings and Beyond/RS Guitarworks Sales

Why would you waste money on a RS kit if money is tight?

Re: PSA: Strings and Beyond/RS Guitarworks Sales

FWIW, I got a mojotone kit for my 335S and it was well done: quality parts and soldering job. I had an RS Kit in my Tokai and it was also very well done. I do like the RS pots a bit better, but If money is tight go with the mojotone for sure...its quality stuff and a big improvement on the circuitboard that was in the 335.

If money is tight, not a gigging musician and what is in there works, there no need to spend money on anything. Sell, get more income.

It's gonna be a tight Christmas for us. Good to see so many good deals out there right now though.
