PU for my Caparison Dellinger

as the title...
i got the Capa Dellinger II which is equipped with Custom 5 & Jazz.
the guitar is mahogany body, maple neck, ebony fretboard.

i'm actually quite happy with the PU combination at the moment but looking forward if there is a little bit warmer of 'custom 5'?
i love the natural & clarity of the custom 5 but just want a little bit warmer.

my 1st option is Tone Zone but... it will maybe sound muddy.
previously tried TZ in my mahogany ibanez.
not sure how it sound in Caparison.

if you want a bit warmer, the solution could be totally free as long as you know how to turn a screwdriver

just lower the adjustable coil screws a bit until the sound is warmed up to your liking. if it doesn't do the trick, then go looking for a new pickup.

+1. You could always go to a A-2 mag, If the tweaking doesn't pan out.
A-2 will be a custom custom. You will get softer highs, more mids and a bit looser bass. I modded mine in this way, to better match a pearly gates neck in my tele. The tone zone will have way more mids, and more oomph in general, than a custom 5.

Change the pot to a 250K and you'll be OK.

If that doesn't cut it, keep the 500K pot and change the magnet putting an A8.

If you still have problems, get your gear checked, including the ears!

tq bro. i've done it but dont like lost of PU sensitivity.
