PUP Advise for a HSS Mexi_Strat

I know you guys are probably tired of hearing about this, but I really do need your opinion...I just bought a mexi-strat that I want to "re-arm." The fact I have a humbucker in the bridge position makes it more challanging (and fun).
One major concern is how the HB will work with the SC's. I want the interaction to be as seamless as possible, but yet cast the widest possible net tone wise. I have a American Deluxe that I want to leave stock. So that covers the classic strat sound.
I am more Gilmour than Stevie Ray strat wise. Texas blues to me is the Reverend Willie G. I guess I'm looking for a warm but clear neck, a full middle with a little bit of quack, and a searing bridge.....I want it all. I think the HSS configuration is the best way to get it. I just need to know where to start. I'm open to suggestions. Youtube links would be a BIG help. - Sky Dog

for the Rev Willie G, start with the Pearly Gates in the bridge. maybe a duckbucker in the middle. cool rails in the neck.
